Approximately half of the property consists of guahilla and blackbrush covered hills and ridges.  Most of the brush on these hills indicate protein contents of from 20 to as much as 30 percent of protein content. Most of these brushes are palatable and fattening for everything that walks on a hoof.  In addition to guahilla and blackbrush, there is a considerable amount of granjeno, guayacan, cenizo, blue sage, persimmon, whitebrush, and mesquite.
